Job description
National manufacturing and distribution company seeking a highly motivated and organized inventory analyst associate to join our supply chain team in Cerritos, CA. This position requires a multi-tasking individual to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a solid background in supply chain operations and will take a proactive approach in all aspects of inventory management.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring of inventory levels and usage patterns for various items/customers
- Coordinating and reconciling inventory counts
- Reporting and analyzing data to anticipate future needs
- Request production orders and subsequent follow-up regarding order placement & shipping schedules
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent 4 year degree
- Keen analytical skills with a strong foundation in math
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong proficiency using MS Office based programs, especially Microsoft Excel
- Flexibility towards changing environments and willingness to learn
- Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) preferred
- Experience conducting and recording accurate inventory counts a plus
Hourly Pay Scale (depending on experience): $15.50 ~ $23
