In your role, you will:
- Lead and supervise the quality functions of Bombardier Aerospace Inspection personnel at the Chicago Parts Distribution facility.
- Develop and maintain Quality inspection instructions.
- Provide training to personnel in Quality methods, procedures and practices.
- Assure conformance to Bombardier Quality Systems and regulatory responsibilities. Solve problems that affect quality and reliability.
- Provide customer, supplier and management interface on quality, process and delivery issues.
- This is a working supervisor position in which the supervisor will conduct inspections, audits and many other daily projects as needed.
- It is a high pressure and fast paced position where good decisions and strong people skills are required.

As our ideal candidate,
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- You have 1-3 years of Quality experience in Aerospace
- You have 1-3 years of Supervisor experience
- You have knowledge of AS9100 certification. Six Sigma methodology
- You have knowledge of Airworthiness Standards and Regulations (TCCA / FAA / EASA).
- You understand FAA Production Approval Holder systems (PC / PMA / TSOA)
- You have planning and organizational skills necessary to plan, prioritize, and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have training skills necessary to deliver and evaluate curriculum and materials
- You have proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- You can travel up to 20% and hold a valid passport (or the ability to obtain one)
- You have experience with SAP (preferred)
- You have the flexibility to work 2nd shift
