Our Environmental Services team performs essential work by ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and visitors at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). CRMC serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties and is home to the only comprehensive Burn and Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. Responsibilities:
In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

Responsible for department staff training and development.
Implementation of customer service policies and recovery.
Initiates performance improvement activities.
In conjunction with communication from lead staff, conducts all employee formal development and administrative activities including, scheduling, progressive discipline, coaching, performance evaluations and hiring.
Provides daily coordination and communication with the Director and Supervisory team concerning progress toward department and hospital goals. Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Experience

• 2 years of experience in Environmental Services required
• Environmental Services experience in a hospital environment preferred
• Experience as a Team Lead in Environmental Services preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CHEST - Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician by the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) required within 1 year of hire or transfer into position
• T-CHEST - Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician Trainer by the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) preferred
• DOT - Department of Transportation certification for Hazardous Waste Generator preferred
