The time is now! We have growth opportunity for a seasoned Superintendent!

The great news is that our KOMAN Integrated Solution team (KIS) is growing! Our / general construction business is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team. This position will serve contracts in the Edwards AFB vicinity. The Superintendent will supervise project sites and subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, with safety as the priority. Job duties also include monitoring project budgets, schedules, resources, and equipment. The Edwards portfolio currently focuses on demolition, abatement, and general construction trades with future opportunities to include all trade divisions.

This Leader will have the opportunity to experience the following:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
• Set and achieve performance goals and deadlines.
• Proactively plan and execute construction processes.
• Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget.
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
• Implement, monitor & ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate for the appropriate equipment and ensure equipment condition and operator certifications.
• Keep track of material stock and orders, site delivery coordination, acceptance, off-load, inventory & storage.
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.
• Resolve and/or respond appropriately to on-site issues and emergencies.
• Effectively communicate with management on all issues requiring next-level engagement.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will have 3- 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
• understanding of construction operations and processes is critical along with experience with the requirements of federal contracts and performing under these requirements.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearances necessary to acquire Military Installation access.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
