Job description

Join the City of Sacramento as a summer day camp leader. This summer time position is ideal for students. Camp locations are offered at various parks around the greater Sacramento area. Summer day camp leaders are responsible for the care and supervision of the day campers (1st - 6th grade) in all aspects of the program, you will lead an assigned group, lead activities such as arts and crafts or outdoor games. We are looking for candidates that will build positive relationship with campers and serve as role models and authority figures.

* Must have knowledge of basic needs, care, and interests of school-age children.

* Must be able to interact with the children and provide a fun & safe atmosphere.

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
