=== SHIFT LEAD JOB DESCRIPTION ===

As a Shift Lead you will oversee the operations of your shift, while managing, coaching & training the crew, counting cash, completing paperwork, resolving customer complaints and ensuring all required tasks are completed. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of the shift run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direction and feedback to the crew during your shift
• Ensure all tasks & duties are completed efficiently & effectively
• Assist in handling last-minute scheduling issues & absences
• Ensure crew breaks & lunches are issued, taken and documented
• Train, coach and motivate crew members
• Report the need for equipment repairs or replacements to management
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Provide every customer with awesome service - addressing & resolving their concerns or complaints
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment
• Oversee and Ensure the Completion of all assigned and required Tasks Lists & Paperwork (Always “Inspect What You Expect!!”)
• Lead your Team through a Fast-Paced but Well-Run Dinner Rush

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or similar supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
• Commitment to excellent service
• Work well within a team - attending to your own tasks while overseeing that others complete theirs accurately
• Leadership skills and ability to make fast & effective decisions
• Strong problem-solving and solution oriented abilities
• Ability to stand for long periods
