Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Performs routine clerical duties including typing correspondence, records, and reports; maintaining student scheduling records, answering telephone and processing mail, must be proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office
  • Copies data and compiles records and reports
  • Operates office machines such as typewriter, adding, calculating, fax and duplicating machines
  • Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail
  • Files documents and maintains filing system
  • Posts information to records
  • Answers telephone and answers questions concerning the organization or department, or refers persons to another source of information
  • May be required to relieve Receptionist and other staff
  • Follows all guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by the Department of Labor and the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma and one year related experience and/or training
  • Experience working with youth and adults ages 16-24 in an educational or training setting is preferred
  • Data entry experience
  • Familiarity and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
