StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals. Stretch Lab’s proprietary flexologist™ training ensures that their clients receive world class stretching sessions.

Position:

StretchLab San Marcos is seeking a fitness professional (personal trainers, physical therapists, physical therapist aides, massage therapists, yoga teacher, Pilates instructor and more) to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. Every Flexologist joining the team undergoes a Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training followed by certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. Each session is usually 25 minutes or 50 minutes long.
• Discuss client goals and outcomes, customize stretch sessions based on client goals, record outcomes and progress.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.
• Ensure safety of clients regarding proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.
• Provide exceptional customer service during each session.
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele.
• Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed.
• Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention.
• Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use.
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.

Qualifications:

• Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
• Certified and/or licensed as a physical therapist/aide, chiropractor, kinesiologist, personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, or another form of specialized health & fitness.
• 1+ year experience working in a fitness/health environment where you are providing hands-on training with clients is preferred.
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
• Fantastic verbal and written communication skills and ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals.
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies.
• Desire to continually learn new principles in the areas of stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition.

Other Considerations:

• Flexible Schedule, ~16-24 hours/week preferred.
• 4-to-6-hour shifts M-F, weekend availability.
• Bonus and commission pay opportunity.

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
