As the Strategic Project Manager, you will lead unique strategic projects and research for strategic products within the Corporate Development team. The Strategic Project Manager position will complete market research, map the industry landscape, present company overviews, assess technical capabilities of third parties and the software they build, manage projects of varying scope, communicate with external and internal stakeholders on project status, have a general understanding of APIs and be able to determine a company’s integration capabilities compared to the industry. This position will work cross-functionally with the KW Technology, KW executive teams, other KW teams as needed, and all levels of 3rd party industry companies. The Strategic Project Manager will also work closely with the KW Marketplace Platform team to establish a contracting framework towards partner agreements and integration requirements. This role will allow an operationally minded, organized strategic thinker with real estate technology experience to grow their career.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans for varying strategic projects, templating where possible, to manage project intake, tasks and milestones.
  • Effectively manage multiple strategic projects of varying degree and scope simultaneously from project inception through completion including product pilots, product discovery & partnerships.
  • Leverage project management and software tools such as Asana, Aha!, Jira, Slack, and HubSpot.
  • Provide project level communication and reports throughout the project lifecycle to key stakeholders on a regular cadence.
  • Organize and manage cross-functional pilots between the agent field, kw tech, finance, marketing, operations, training, teams.
  • Ad-hoc market research & analysis related to current or future projects.
  • Build and maintain an industry map resource to guide our build/buy/partner recommendations.
  • Develop relationships with various industry partners.
  • Evaluate and document potential partnerships plans, including partner profile information.
  • General understanding of corporate development procurement processes.
  • Build and present executive briefings and strategic recommendations-based research findings.
  • Review and understand public API documentation at a high level to communicate capabilities.
  • Understand how KW technology features and capabilities can map to external partner systems at a high level.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • API integration familiarity
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The anticipated annual base salary for this role will range from $88,000 - $132,000 based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include the following offered benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, 401k, healthcare savings account, company paid time off, and company paid holidays.
