Storage Engineer – PowerEdge / PowerStore

Location: Auburn Hills, MI - Onsite
Duration: 13+ Months

Scope Details:

Skills: “PowerEdge PowerStore"

Proficient understanding of Dell storage and server hardware
Clear and concise communication to internal and external customers
Detail oriented
Collaboration skills
Nice to have: Knowledge of Dell HW, Great communication skills, and Excellent tracking skills
Provide onsite presence during Business Hours
24x7x365 dispatched support ‘Hands and Eyes’ as required to deliver the applicable Services
Install and support datacenter servers:
1. Complete shutdown and startup actions on servers in the datacenters as required to meet service restoration requirements – Customer to provide startup/shutdown processes
Provide asset management for this Agreement’s applicable managed equipment: This is for management/oversight of the processes and not us performing these tasks (i.e. physically performing the transporting of equipment, performing the disk wipes, etc) of Dell HW
1. Track and document the movement of assets within the datacenter
2. Track and document the movement of assets between the datacenters
3. Transport equipment between datacenters as required to meet Partner goals
4. Server and other asset decommission processes including but not limited to:
4a. Disk wipes
4b. Facilitating remote administration as required.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Auburn Hills, MI 48321: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• PowerEdge: 4 years (Required)
• PowerStore: 4 years (Required)
• Dell storage and server hardware: 3 years (Required)
