Menzies Distribtuion are looking to recruit a Stock Room Operative based from our Wakefield Depot J41, working Monday - Friday between the hours of 0600 - 1400. The purpose of the role will be to maintain an accurate record of all overstocks received into the secure Stock Room area and accurately complete customer orders for additional supplies.

Role Details

• Accurately enter all overstocks and back orders of news and magazine products into the Continuum system.
• Locate overstocks to enable efficient compilation of customer orders for despatch through packing system.
• Ensure stock area is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
• Accurately and punctually complete recall notes to ensure all unsold products are claimed from publishers.
• Liaise with publishers and other MDL warehouse regarding back orders.
• Undertake additional duties together with associated responsibilities as may be requested by Supervisors and Management to meet the needs of the business.
• Operate an accurate and efficient Stock Room area in order to complete additional customer order requirements and reduce news and magazine product losses
