STEM Externship Program Coordinator- $30.00 p/h, part-time

• Part-time, 25 hours per week
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, flexible hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 1-year temporary assignment

Duties:

· Assist the program lead with the day-to-day administration of the program

· Work directly with externs throughout their externship experience; gather and analyze relevant data

· Gather and analyze relevant program data and regularly collaborate with the Council and clients to ensure the successful program implementation

· Assisting in the development of program collateral

· Publicizing the program at STEM AC/STEM AC supported events

· Developing social media content for STEM AC media platforms

· Recruiting educators to participate in the program

· Supporting educators through the application, matchmaking, and training phases of the program

· Coordinating housing for externs serving outside their home communities

· Ensure externs are meeting all program requirements

· Coordinating with STEM AC staff to ensure extern invoices are accurately submitted and received

· Conducting site visits during the externship experience with externs and site hosts

· Collecting and organizing relevant program data

· Analyzing data to evaluate potential changes for the 2024 program year

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Professional demeanor and attitude
• Familiarity with office organization techniques
• Well-organized, detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
