Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Start-up Service Coordinator to join their growing team! The Start-up Service Coordinator (SSC) is responsible for coordinating scheduling, execution, and close out of the start-up process on new equipment sales. An expert in all facets of communication, organization, planning, and execution, the SSC works to maximize customer satisfaction with the start-up experience by clearing internal/external barriers, arbitrating conflict resolution, and balancing real-world demands within a framework of standards, profitability, and efficiency. The role reports directly to the Director, Operational Excellence (OPEX).

Start-up Service Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for internal Sales team and external customer on coordination and execution of equipment start-up by the Service team
  • Manages the SU and SU+ processes between Service and Sales, end-to-end
  • Serves as coordinator, liaison, and arbitrator between internal and external parties to optimize start-up outcomes
  • Optimize the balance of all competing interests/factors to maximize customer satisfaction, start-up profitability, and efficient use of technician labor capacity
  • Oversees scheduling and execution of all equipment start-ups through the Service Administrators at the branches, driving schedule dates within 48 business hours of request
  • Follows start-up work from initiation to completion by technician, keeping all relevant internal parties informed on progress/barriers
  • Additional duties as assigned

Preferred Start-up Service Coordinator Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus three + years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, and Great Plains software, preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on superior customer service
  • Ability to travel to other branch locations or to customer sites (less than 5%)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, under pressure and to multi-task
