Job description

Full Time Physical Therapist Position for an Outpatient, Therapist Owned Private Practice

Above all else we are driven by a common purpose. Everyone in our organization knows why we exist, and that is to help people realize their full potential and elevate their expectations. Day in and day out, every one of our team members are living this purpose through their interactions with patients, with staff, and with friends. We are so proud to be united by this common purpose and so grateful to witness it living each day.

To attain alignment around our core purpose, all our team members feel connections to our core values, or our guiding behaviors. We believe these are values that all staff must share for each individual and the organization to thrive and succeed. Meaningful Results means everyone leaves as a success story (patients, staff, vendors, etc). We do everything in our power to help you achieve your goals and more. We prioritize teamwork and the belief that collaboration leads to extraordinary results. Teaching is in our blood, so we highly value Education. “The best way to learn is to teach” is one of our sayings. Finally, we continuously challenge the status quo by always asking “Can we be better?”.

Our common purpose and our core values provide the foundation for how we succeed as a business. Through genuine relationships, with personalized education and growth, and helping 5M people by 2034, Orthopaedics Plus will be successful for year to come. Here are some other reasons why Orthopaedics Plus is such a special place:

  • Work in a family environment, not corporate culture: Sterile, corporate environments that are focused more on numbers than people are becoming more common in physical therapy. Multiple layers of management means staff PTs have little influence on how care is delivered. We feel this is driving great PTs out of outpatient care and negatively impacting patient care. At OP, we are a stark contrast to the corporate PT philosophy and have been so for over 35 years. We believe PTs have great minds and big hearts. We believe clinics thrive when PTs feel they are in an environment that fosters collaboration, growth, and flexibility. As a result, patients in our community receive exceptional care
  • Grow your specialty: We support and encourage you to develop your special interests to not only expand your skills, but also increase your pay. We have helped our Physical Therapists expanded into niche practices, such as fitness studios, pediatric spine care, pelvic floor dysfunction, running clinics, CEU instruction, and post-mastectomy care.
  • An incubator for leaders in the industry: Therapists working with Orthopaedics Plus have become professors and clinical instructors, fellowship instructors, practice owners, national CEU educators, researchers, authors, and most importantly sought after therapists.
  • Collaborate with top-notch experienced professionals: Our clinic is staffed with several clinicians who have been treating for over 30 years. Most of our clinicians are residency and fellowship trained. Co-treating opportunities, spontaneous technique practice sessions, and informal literature review discussions are common in our clinics.
  • A practice run by Physical Therapists who still treat: Experienced PTs know there is a difference in practices that are run by treating therapists verses non-treating clinicians. OP has been and always will be therapist owned and operated.
  • Combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and fitness: Our practice is firmly engrained in the principles of providing skilled manual therapy, graded exercise, and empowering patients through patient education to facilitate optimal recovery, health, and fitness. We believe valuable physical therapy care goes beyond just restoring ROM or basic function and extends to multiple domains of wellness. Our collaboration with Spectrum Fitness Consulting, the region’s premier personal training studio adjacent to both our clinic locations, serves brings a unique dimension to the patient care experience. Our patients can be seamlessly introduced to weight management, performance enhancement, general fitness, or nutrition services during or after their physical therapy experience. This has allowed our clinicians to make a far greater impact on our patient’s health beyond the typical PT experience.
  • Treat with your unique style: We appreciate that while there are a few fundamental principles like those above that all effective care is based on, there are many different methods to apply effective patient care. Skilled PTs shouldn’t be told to blindly follow cookie cutter systems or protocols. Skilled PTs love to treat according to their unique skills and perspectives firmly rooted in established principles. They should never be pressured to bill a certain quota of modality codes. We’ve learned that PTs want to have a continuity of care by seeing their own patients. Pt’s want the freedom to have flexible schedules. That’s exactly what we provide at OP.
