SUMMARY:

Perform and apply GAAP and IFRS accounting methods, principles and practices to financial reporting, and provide overall support to Controller/CFO in carrying out Finance/Accounting department responsibilities related to overall company operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts, analyses and reports, including profits/losses.
  • Prepare Internal and external reports and analyses on assets, liabilities, and expenses.
  • Prepare month end reporting, journal entries and analysis of fixed costs and balance sheet accounts for multiple locations.
  • Create and file sales and other tax documents, and implement processes to ensure financial integrity.
  • Prepare financial and management reports.
  • Knowledge of systems or modifications of existing systems to provide better financial control.
  • Coordinate with outside auditors.
  • Assist with operational audits.
  • Assist with ensuring Internal Controls
  • Account reconciliation and analysis.
  • Travel and Expense report processing
  • Handle special projects and support other areas as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA or Certifiable candidate from a local or national CPA firm.
  • A minimum of 4 plus years of related accounting experience.
  • Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  • Requires a strong knowledge and ability to work with PC-based computerized accounting systems and high proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel software.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Requires excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills necessary for working with employees in different department areas.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution.

BS degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required.

Salary Range:

$60,000 to $80,000 annual
