Staff Accountant
Salary Range: Up to $95K
Target Bonus: 7%-10%
Location: Calumet City, IL area (Remote work not an option)
Job Description
· BA/BS degree
· Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred
· Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX concepts
· Previous experience with ERP systems, SAP is highly preferred but not required
· Experience with corporate state income taxes and state sales tax
· Support the finance organization's monthly closing and reporting processes
· Prepare A/P accruals
· Prepare freight journal entries and related analysis
· Account reconciliations
· Prepare Financial Statement
· Review regularly scheduled Payroll runs for errors
· Post Payroll journal entries
· Reconcile Payroll related G/L accounts
· Perform actual vs plan variance analysis
· Re-class entries as needed
· Assist in budgeting of manufacturing cost centers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
