  • The base salary for the role is $82,280 - $123,420. Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a strong team player who will manage Residential Installation Partners with a significant focus on account management, pricing negotiations, and service level agreement (SLA) management. Deliverables include recruiting, onboarding new partners, and managing an existing portfolio of Installation Partners. Responsibilities will also encompass regional strategy development, including overall capacity planning, cost and program management, partner development, and supply chain optimization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Collaborate with Regional Ops Centers to maintain Installation Partner base, and improve annual contracts?
  • Create and award Installation Contracts within SLA
  • Document management
  • Ensure Installation Partners comply with industry standards and SunPower requirements
  • Continue to evaluate installation Partners for workmanship, quality, and cost
  • Interact with SunPower Operations to manage logistics, communication, and invoicing support
  • Maintain CRM database for account access, required information, and reporting
  • Identify sales process requirements, needs and improvement initiatives; work cross functionally with SunPower sales, marketing, finance and operations to improve program design, sales process, customer experience and other SunPower Direct metrics
  • Weekly reporting of business activity and metrics
  • Discover and optimize cost reduction opportunities by challenging current process structures, cost models, etc.
  • Assist in organizational cost reduction efforts and overall process improvements and documentation

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum requirements - The least amount of skills and training candidates must have to do a specific job. Candidates not meeting these requirements will not be hired for this position.
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
  • Experience with Solar and Construction
  • Solar Technical/Operations background
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes
  • Proven ability to successfully procure, monitor, and assess subcontracted construction functions such as solar installation contractors, electrical contractors, and roofing contractors
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a personal vehicle to travel between job sites – no use of motorcycles or scooters during business hours

Preferred requirements

  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
  • Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on industry experience
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
  • General Contractors license is a plus
