Complete ownership of a technology module, accountable for prioritization of projects based on business need, delegation of tasks to extended module team, lead for definition of improvement experiments and hardware disposition. Sustain and improve manufacturing technologies by ensuring product quality, reducing defectivity, improving process stability (Cp/Cpk), and increasing processing efficiency. Detect line issues through data analysis and driving appropriate containment and resolution in a timely manner in order to limit the impact to yield and delivery. Collaborate with device, process module in driving development work for new production technologies. Drive cost reductions through expense elimination, line and test yield improvement, and efficiency improvements. NPI (New product introduction) setup and end-to-end (Product tapeout to Qualification & Yield) responsibilities. Work with multi-disciplinary teams in driving CIPs for Device & Yield improvements in meeting customer goals and milestones.Characterize FinFET transistor performance and propose improvements. Learn and become an expert on SPC, DOE, Yield analysis tools, Lot management systems, work on continuous improvement projects to improve ET line yield and Cpk. Support Engineering teams on manufacturing ramp, cost reduction, etc.

Qualifications: Requires a Master’s degree in materials science and engineering, physics, electrical engineering, semiconductor manufacturing or related field of study. The employer will alternatively accept bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering, physics, electrical engineering, semiconductor manufacturing or related field of study and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, engineering or related occupation in lieu of a master’s degree.

Requires experience in or knowledge of: semiconductor processing steps such as lithography, implantation, annealing and oxidation; basic electronic devices such as bipolar transistors and metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFET); techniques used in the characterization of materials; design, fabrication, and characterization of electronic devices; and materials characteristics of common semiconductors. Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, internship, or teaching.

Expected Salary Range

$102,128 - $104,000

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
