Job Overview
This position is responsible for delivering customer and market insights to T-Mobile Marketing (Product Management and Segment Marketing) and Product Development business owners. Position assists in all phases of qualitative and quantitative primary research including creation of project briefs, vendor selection and management, drafting surveys, moderator's guides, and screener questionnaires, analysis and presentation of research findings. Position writes reports by synthesizing data and provides actionable recommendations, presenting findings to Sr. Manager, Director, VP-level business owners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts primary research including writing requests for proposals, supplier selection and management, survey writing, interpretation and research reporting, makes methodological recommendations, and drafts survey questionnaires and moderator’s guides.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify business needs, estimates research budget, and writes research plans and proposals to address those key business questions.
  • Summarizes data analysis into actionable reports and present results.
  • Manages biannual and quarterly product studies, including product lineup and satisfaction.
  • Mines existing surveys and consumer data on a regular basis, to deliver insights regarding consumer satisfaction and usage behavior.
  • Manages vendors to bring projects in on time and within budget.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business, Analytics or related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Marketing research on consumer products on either vendor or client side experience.
  • 4-7 years Experimental research design experience and training.
  • 4-7 years Experience of using syndicated research in an analyst, planning, or product management function with demonstrated ability to research specific topics and deliver insights that answer or address specific business or customer questions.
  • 4-7 years Direct experience working in one or more of the following industries US wireless (e.g., carrier, OEM, software provider, infrastructure provider, consulting or research firm), consumer electronics or technology.
  • 4-7 years Direct interaction with marketing or sales professionals providing information/solutions, working collaboratively.
  • 4-7 years Indirect leading of cross-functional professionals, Loyalty & Satisfaction Research (Brand & Advertising Research), Competitive Analysis, Database Marketing, Products/Services Innovation & Development, Internal Tools Development.

Washington Pay Range : $121,100.00 - $163,900.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
