This full time position includes providing evaluations and treatment to children who need you to become more independent. You can be a huge addition to helping lots of children by serving a thriving caseload. You will be working with a great team of therapists (ST, PT, and OT) who truly function as a work family in the clinic and providing services in a school districts in the greater Gulf Shores area a few hours per week.
- Evaluating levels of speech and language difficulty, including handling problematic behaviors
- Identifying treatment options and providing treatment while counseling parents on ways to use techniques for carry-over outside the treatment environment
- Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs
- Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with communication disorders
- Supervising SLPAs in the school setting with 100% onsite supervision
A masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required with state licensure.
Experience and ASHA certification is preferred, but a strong CF is encouraged to apply. Must have good transportation and be excited to work in a team setting.
