School Speech-Language Pathologist

Life Water Support Services is a provider of school-based therapy services right here in Wayne and Oakland county! We are immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school district in Inkster, MI on a part-time/full-time basis. We are dedicated to creating an enriching and rewarding experience for our SLPs, and we are passionate about helping YOU make a difference in children’s lives.

SLP Job Responsibilities:

• The SLP will provide 1:1 support and group therapy to school students.
• Manage a caseload students.
• Evaluate students’ speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans for them.
• Complete all job duties and paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
• Participate in the multidisciplinary evaluation process and collaborate with other team members to identify students in need of special education.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Build and uphold strong relationships with parents, guardians, staff, and administration.
• Other responsibilities to follow.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
