Overview of the Role

  • The Business Support Specialist will support the sales team with administrative duties which include but are not limited to, sales presentations, client business reviews, data manipulation and preparation, customer forms, customer system maintenance, and other projects as assigned. This role will be an integral part of, supporting our sales team, Client relationships and retail partner relationships.
  • In office full-time; Must be local to Rowlett TX / Dallas, TX

What You’ll do at C.A. Carlin

  • Support the VP of Sales and Sales team in sales administrative duties
  • Consistent and quality completion of assigned duties
  • Ensure sales materials are available and supplied, including samples, sell sheets, specifications, IRC’s, etc
  • Project management and support as assigned by the sales team

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • 0-3 years of professional sales support experience
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days a week
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented; enjoys working tasks to completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable conversing with executive level client partners
  • Creative problem solver who strives for results
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be effective independently
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients, customers, & colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), and Adobe Acrobat

You Will Stand Out if You Have

  • Any experience working for or with a food & beverage broker/sales agency or consumer packaged goods
  • An understanding of the food and beverage distribution network and retail landscape
  • Extensive sales support or administrative experience
