Our client is looking for a Spark Developer join their team. This is a 6+ month contract role with the likelihood to extend.
Position Description:
· Provide production ops support for Spark
· Support Spark apps
· Handle Spark outages
· Scripting in Spark
During initial period will be working 60/40 support/performance improvements - hybrid application support/development
Performance improvements
Required Skills:
· High level Spark/Python experience
· Advanced problem solving within Spark
Basic SQL, Oracle experience
Scala experience
Experience in performance improvement and Spark configurations
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
