Position Description:

Motus is looking for a Software Engineer to make an impact within a small development team. This individual will support several primary applications for Motus' MMS solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a software environment that is implementing exciting new changes and processes. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, have a passion for tackling complex problems, and be adaptable.

Position Duties:

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and architects in conceptualizing and developing new software applications and enhancements.
• Define software project plans, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, and implementation. Write code using a variety of programming languages.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of new and existing systems.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
• Define technical requirements based on business requirements
• Conduct code evaluations
• Participate in setting team standards and best practices
• Assist in customer onboarding activities, including application configuration and system integrations
• Assist in application support, including troubleshooting customer issues, working operations/support requests, and participating in weekly on-call rotation

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 3-5 years developing enterprise-level web-based applications on Microsoft Platforms
• Experience with C#, T-SQL, JavaScript
• Experience with Classic ASP, VBScript
• Experience working in a Scrum environment and working knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing in a team environment
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $50,000-$115,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
