This hire will be responsible for managing and overseeing software design, development and sustaining activities in our organization. The Software Architect needs to be a hands-on contributor who can work effectively in cross-functional teams while inspiring and motivating the team to complete projects quickly, efficiently, and effectively to meet customer needs.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Software Architect to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the medical industry. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software solutions are reliable, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the medical industry
• Work closely with our development team to ensure that our software solutions are reliable, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions are integrated with other systems and processes
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development, regulatory compliance, and medical device technology
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure that code is maintainable, scalable, and meets quality standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other members of the development team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with FDA regulations and medical device development processes, including MDR
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
