Community Interface Services is seeking to hire a reliable, full-time Employment Coach to work with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. If you are interested in a career in helping people and making an impact on your community, read on about our human services position.

As an Employment Resource Counselor, you would:

  • Support people in finding or maintaining a job. Shadow participants during their shifts to provide direction, and support them in developing their skills.
  • Support participants in accessing their local community, navigating higher education, or volunteering to build vocational skills.
  • Develop and implement a plan of direct support for an individual's personal goals
  • Document everyone's progress, working with a larger team to analyze metrics and determine future steps

This full-time social services position works Monday-Friday during daytime hours, usually between 8 AM-5 PM with some flexibility in scheduling. This role earns a competitive starting wage of $18.50 - $20.50 per hour. Work locations include Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred; High school diploma/GED required
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • A car in safe working order, CA Driver License, and 2 years' driving experience
  • Covid-19 Vaccination and Booster
