Overview: Manage the service of members and guests in our beautiful outdoor Snack Bar by the Pool. Supervise Snack Bar staff, greet guests, maintain order and cleanliness, assure the members’ satisfaction standards are consistently attained. Assists management in supervising service personnel to ensure that member and guest satisfaction and presentation standards are consistently attained. Consistent Engagement with members and employees.

I. Job Description (Includes, but is not limited to):

· Train staff in proper food handling procedures and Member/ guest service.

· Train and supervise bartenders.

· Facilitate the cohesive operations between front and back of house.

· Ensure quality control of food and service among staff and members.

· Extend the learning and teaching of all staff on procedures and operations to create a successful atmosphere.

· Operate cash flows for daily operations.

· Ensure all safety and health code procedures are met and utilized.

· Create and maintain communicative relationships with pool staff.

· Assist in beverage and food inventory.

· Maintain flow of inventory items utilizing the requisition/inventory forms

· Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed in an accurate manner.

· Resolve member/guest complaints.

· Accurately complete end of shift cash out envelopes for each operating day

· Ensure bar/food totals are accurate with each end of shift report.

· Maintain Jonas Management System for snack bar area.

· Attending scheduled staff and management meetings.

· Assures that pre-opening cleaning tasks are assigned and completed as required.

· Inspects the snack bar areas at the end of the night and makes sure they are in presentable condition.

· Suggests and describes available appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wines to members and guests.

· Ad hoc duties as required by General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Dining Room Manager

II. Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

III. Preferred:

· Previous experience in a Private Country Club setting

· Effective communications, member services, and organizational skills

· Previous serving & Bartending experience.

IV. Compensation:

· $16-17/hour

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
