Job description

Prepares all food orders in a quick, timely and accurate manner. Receives cash from customers in payment for goods or services and enters transaction into cash register.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Monitor all food quality, consistency and presentation. Maintains a high degree of sanitation on work station and in entire kitchen at all times in full accordance with State Health Regulations. Provides safe and wholesome food to our guests. Demonstrates proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment. Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity. Keeps area clean and stocked with food supplies, then rotates and dates stock. Deep cleans kitchen equipment, service window, stainless steel, walls/vents and refrigerators. Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in kitchen. Organization of all supply rooms and storage areas. Responsible for keeping service station and eating areas clean, helps to restock guest service areas. Cleans tables, chairs, service areas and floors. Cleans and sanitizes all dishware, glassware and silverware. Maintains cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment. Maintains a pace of work which allows supplies to be cleaned and put in their proper place which meets business demands.
Handles routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel. Always becomes well versed in the various property events and relays same to slot players. Keeps casino clean, secure, and well maintained. Responds appropriately and professionally over the radio. Understands and complies with company and departmental directives, policies and procedures. Always presents oneself as a credit to Bull Durham and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
