Job description
- Repair various types of custodial equipment as supplied on the school as needed. This will include, but not limited to, auto scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, buffers, ride on machines, etc.
- Interact with head custodians and supervisory staff to determine the appropriate equipment maintenance needs.
- Read and understand technical drawings and manuals used in the process of repairing equipment.
- Ensure work orders are completed within a timely manner.
- Maintain a stock of inventory parts to ensure reliable customer service and timely repair of custodial equipment.
- Support the effective on-going operation and continuous improvement of equipment support processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of six (6) month years of general maintenance, landscape maintenance or closely related experience is preferred.
- Valid Georgia Drivers License required.
