We are seeking a Patient Sitter with the Med Surg Department at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI.
The Patient Sitter is a non-licensed member of the patient care team and has the primary assignment of assisting patients in ordering meals that align with their ordered diet, various clerical work and projects as needed, and ensuring patient safety. The Sitter may occasionally provide one-on-one observation of a patient under the direction of supervising nurse. Verbally calms, reassures, and/or redirects patient as necessary. Reports any changes, safety concerns, patient complaints, or unexpected behaviors to supervising nurse
Qualifications:

Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
