Site Supervisor

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a quality day program which includes coordinating administrative, staffing, programmatic, and physical plant policies. Other personnel are available to be delegated the responsibilities of the implementation of some of these policies; however, establishing the policies and systems necessary to operate a sound facility is the responsibility of the Site Supervisor, who reports directly to the Director of Day Habilitation & TILL Centrals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Create an environment conducive to learning and the acquisition of skills.
  • Oversee the annual review process, participate in the assessment of individual skills, develop appropriate programmatic goals and activities, interventions, and data collection systems for the individuals.
  • Work with the behaviorist on Behavior goals and interventions.
  • Assist in the training of DSP’s/SR DSP’s in behaviorally based methodology techniques.
  • Monitor staff’s implementation of training methods, adherence to program schedule, and maintenance of programmatic supplies and equipment.
  • Train DSP’s/SR DSP’s in case management systems and programmatic procedures. Monitor and coordinate the completion of appropriate documentation including skill acquisition and behavioral data, progress notes and communication books.
  • Develop appropriate scheduling and programming for participants.
  • Select appropriate individuals for the program through intake & referral process
  • Provide supervision to DSP’s/SR DSP’s on a monthly basis and maintain supervision records.
  • Responsible for the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, disciplinary process or any other change of status of DSP’s/SR DSP’s.
  • Work with the Program Manager regarding day to day transportation issues, new PT1 requests and any changes.
  • Coordinate and participate in monthly clinical meetings.
  • Develop community contacts to further the development of the program’s community experience.
  • Maintain proper, current, and timely documentation for individual billing, (attendance).
  • Purchase (or authorize purchase of) program supplies and minor furnishings as described in budget description for program.
  • Be responsible for record keeping for individuals, budget, supplies, gas, and equipment.
  • Responsible for administrative duties, e.g., orienting new staff, coordinating staff training, with programs manager, and implementing agency policies.
  • Maintain good working relationships with individual families and/or residential staff and other relevant program staff.
  • Conduct internal program evaluation.
  • Maintain and monitor professional demeanor and conduct including punctuality, attendance, appearance and programmatic interactions.
  • Maintain proper physical upkeep and operation of the site.
  • Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals.
  • Serve as a role model for staff in working with individuals.
  • Be responsible for the program's functioning at an optimal level in the manager's absence.
  • Responsible for submitting monthly newsletter.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum High School diploma with three years’ experience in a position with progressive responsibilities in areas of administration, writing and implementing individual objectives, and supervision. BA/BS in Human Service Psychology or related field preferred. Must have the ability to develop and write objectives, possess good English, written and oral communication skills, have the ability to develop teaching strategies and train staff. CPR and First Aid certifications are a condition of employment. Driver’s license and vehicle required. This position includes providing direct care for the individuals including lifting individuals, passive restraints and hand-over-hand assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,720.00 - $54,080.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
