The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing the vehicle body, from hammering out minor dents to windshield replacement and complete rebuilds. The technician will repair damaged vehicle body parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. ICAR and ASE certifications a plus.

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hours and schedule may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and repair damaged parts
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Requirements:

• Must submit to a background check and drug test
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• ICAR and ASE Certifications a plus
• 5 years experience in Frame and Body Repair
• Past dealership experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
