Job Summary

The employee will oil and grease equipment and pick up or drop off parts in a company vehicle per shop needs. The employee must have a safe driving record, and must thrive in fast-paced environment, working independently or as part of a team. The employee must be reliable, flexible, organized, detail-oriented, and a positive team player.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist team in acquiring/picking up all purchased/ordered parts and/or equipment as assigned.
  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are fueled and greased appropriately.
  • Fill containers such as oil cans, grease guns, or the tank of a lubrication vehicle and equipment
  • Perform detailed cleaning of inside and outside of vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist in relocating/moving equipment and/or vehicles to different areas of worksite, yard, or shop bays.
  • Assist in ensuring parts bins are kept organized and well-stocked.
  • Pick and take parts to vendors for repairs.
  • Operate a forklift and company trucks.
  • Follow proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and semi-trucks.
  • Keep shop areas neat and safe.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist deliveries at all company locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Able to read, write legibly, and follow instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including a strong eye for detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full-time role requiring the employee to be open to working long hours and some weekends.
  • Confident, customer-focused, and professional.
  • Available to work the required shift hours/days, including Monday to Friday 8-4:30
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work, and a valid state-issued driver s license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment screening including an MVR check, background check, and have a clean driving record.

  • Experienced with general labor duties and making local deliveries.
  • Professional and clear communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle tools and supplies; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be physically able to drive safely. Physical demands vary and in some cases be greater or lesser than indicated here.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust, use of chemicals with safety equipment and procedures, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
