Job description
Shop Hand for the Manifold Division will assist with the washing, painting, testing for leaks, and blockages in manifolds. The Shop hand will help with keeping the work area clean and organized. He/ she will drive a forklift from time to time; and often will aid in shipping products. The Shop Hand is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Wash, flush and test manifolds
· Sanding
· Tape and paint manifolds
· Uses a hand-held grinder to clean up welds and parts
· Uses a crane to move items
· Will maintain a clean work area
· Will drive a forklift as needed
· Will often use the Vat to clean manifolds
· Other duties and task as assigned
Must have experience using a grinder.
Job Type: Full-time
