What You'll Do

• Pack and validate accuracy of orders.
• Utilize WMS Scanners to receive, put away and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Receive equipment / supplies into the warehouse. Assist in creation of preventive maintenance tasks. Assist in creation of standard work flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Deliver materials to manual production lines / sticker areas / packaging areas
• Manually apply multiple labels to coffee bags.
• Operate manual coffee grinders, fill and seal individual bags.
• Pick orders and package online, subscription, wholesale and retail coffee orders.
• Pack boxes on production lines.
• Clean work areas daily - document on checklists, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Operate manual packaging equipment to include: heat sealing machine, foot powered bagging machine, coffee mixers, coffee grinders, manual and electric pallet jacks etc.
• Perform inventory and/or cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts to move equipment and supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues to your supervisor.
• Follow Safety / OSHA processes, procedures and regulations.
• Follow Food Safety (FSMA) processes, procedures and regulations.
• Continuous improvement and 5S projects as directed.
• Contribute to a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• 2-4 years previous experience in a medium to large warehouse and/or packaging experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Good command of English language skills both written and oral.
• Previous experience in a role that requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to guidelines, policies or procedures.
• Previous experience working in a team environment demonstrates professionalism and positivity. communications and behaviors.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting multiplication).
• Able to work a variety of shifts and has a flexible schedule.
• Good organizational, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Visual acuity.
• Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Bending, Reaching, Pulling, Pushing, Extending arms/hands for majority of shift.
• Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
• Exerting up to 40-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

**Compensation & Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the starting hourly rate for this role is $20. Please note that the base salary will vary based on qualifications, previous experience, and work location.
