POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Shipping & Receiving Representative I is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment of copier supplies that leads to a high level of client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform accurate and timely filling and shipment of orders using manifest system.
2. Assist in unloading UPS, SpeeDee, FedEx and ground shipments.
3. Receive and put away supplies and parts daily in proper warehouse location.
4. Ship parts for Technicians daily while meeting deadlines.
5. Conduct inventory cycle counts of copier parts and supplies quarterly while maintaining accurate bin locations.
6. Close out manifest system daily.
7. Deliver internal shipments to proper personnel.
8. Provide backup to other Shipping & Receiving team members when they are out including becoming cross trained in their areas.
9. Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process.
10. Attend required company and departmental meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a shipping and receiving or similar role preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, vendor software and company specific programs.
  • Well developed organizational and time/task management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Superior internal and external customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
