Shipping and Receiving Coordinator – Kearny Mesa Hyundai
Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator handles all duties relative to receipt and shipment for the parts department.
Compensation:
$18-20 depending on experience and matching qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Handle all duties relative to parts department receipt and shipment.
- Ship and receive departmental and/or dealership inventory.
- Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records.
- Create special orders as directed by manger.
- Notify appropriate department when special orders or back-ordered items are received.
- Assist with organization and cleanliness of inventory area.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory.
- Verify receipts against purchase orders.
- Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in employee handbook and complete compliance training
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- CDK experience preferred
- One-year shipping and receiving experience preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- State motor vehicle operators permit for operation of forklift highly preferred but on-site training is provided.
- Valid California state license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock
- Ability to drive a forklift
