EquipmentShare is searching for a Shipping/Order Packing Associate to help support our Telematics Warehouse Operations team in Kansas City, KS.
EquipmentShare seeks a Shipping/Order Packing Associate to join our team full time, who will be responsible for performing the final quality inspection of all items picked for an order to ensure 100% accuracy and customer satisfaction. Items are packed to protect against damage and to maximize shipping cost efficiency, and then prepared for pick up by the carrier. As a Shipping / Order Packing Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
- Checking orders against pick lists for accuracy (Quality Assurance)
- Packing customer orders and generating packing slips
- Prepare orders for shipping
- Ensuring that shipping labels (carrier, lithium battery, etc.) are applied based on order contents
- Load outbound packages / freight
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Work Experience and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous shipping experience required
- Experience with powered industrial trucks preferred
- UPS Worldship, and other carriers, experience a plus.
- Experience with LTL shipping
- Experience with small package shipping
- Experience with Customs requirements for shipments destined for freight forwarders or directly out of the U.S.
- Experience with packing of electronics equipment containing batteries
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required
- Experience with an inventory management system preferred
- Experience with PC and PC applications
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, including the use of ladders and material handling equipment.
