American Iron & Alloys LLC has an opportunity in our Shipping and Receiving department.
Do you have forklift experience and experience working with computers? Do you have experience in communicating with customers and logistics companies? This position may be for you!
What are the hours and pay?
- 1st Shift 7:00AM to 4:00PM Monday – Friday (plus overtime as needed)
- Regular Pay $19.00 per hour
- Overtime at $28.50 per hour

What is the job?
- Manage day to day activities:
- Order processing
- Shipping orders
- Receipt of Material
- Scheduling Pickups
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Banding orders to ship out to customers
- Putting material away when it is delivered
- Process paperwork for invoicing
- Flow order processing out the door in a timely manner
What do you bring to the job?
- Forklift Experience
- Able to use and read a tape measure
- Computer Skills and Experience
- Communication Skills and Experience contacting customers and trucking companies
- Organizational skills
- Tendency to follow set instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven team player
- Self-starter
- Strong work record in safety, quality, and dependability.
