We are looking for an enthusiastic Shift Lead to join our team.

  • Managing and developing a team of 30+ Team Members
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create and implement new policies/procedures
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures food safety
  • Providing high-quality customer service and satisfaction
  • Reporting directly to the leadership team to discuss the current/future state of the restaurant
Shift Lead is generally a full-time opportunity and offered excellent benefits.

Prior experience as operations manager, supervisor, or shift lead is very helpful to your success at this job.

The pay range for this position is $13.00-$16.00 based on experience.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Requirements:
  • ServSafe: Food Manager Certification required with-in first 30 days of hire.
  • Can effectively troubleshoot various issues that may arise.
  • Has at least a short-term commitment to Chick-fil-A of no less than one year.
  • Can effectively clean a restroom.
  • Available to open and close the restaurant.
  • Available to any day including Saturday.
  • Able to work in cold and hot temperatures (30*F-110*F) for extended periods of time.
  • Hold Team Members accountable for operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Primary focus is Team Member development and guest experience.
  • Lead assigned shifts effectively.
  • Motivate, encourage, and provide feedback to Team Members.
  • Ensure all Team Members are aware of any promotions or contests so that they can be educated when dealing with guests.
  • Assess sales vs labor productivity throughout shift and act accordingly based on the needs of the business in order to reach productivity goal.
  • Focus on a positive experience for the guests and for Team Members.
  • Is aware of every area of the restaurant: front-of-house, back-of-house, parking lot cleanliness, drive-thru speed, kitchen flow, dining room atmosphere, etc.
  • Know the restaurant goals for customer satisfaction, sales, labor productivity, and food safety.
  • Handles guest complaints in manner that retains their business.
  • Handles cashier's till and deposit with care and accuracy.
  • Trouble shoot IT issues with Chick-fil-A IT when needed.
  • Work with other Shift Leads to transition shift responsibilities and support each other in reaching restaurant goals.
Tasks:
  • Arming/disarming the restaurant security system when opening/closing.
  • Counting cashier tills and safe.
  • Run Team Member breaks.
  • Answering the phone or delegating to trusted Team Member.
  • Taking catering orders.
  • Coaching and training Team Members.
  • Creating shift setups (placement of Team Members during assigned shift).
  • Be knowledgable of the Chick-fil-A One app.
  • Be knowledgable of the HotSchedules app.
  • Be knowledgable of the Slack app.
  • Be knowledgable of the Jolt app.
  • Documenting disciplinary actions when Team Members break policies.
