Alonso`s Auto Repair is growing and are currently interviewing for a professional Automotive Service Advisor.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent Computer Skills.
- Ability to operate at a high energy level at all times.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Sales skills—the ability to overcome objections and close sales.
- Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- At least 1 year as a Service Advisor, or been working in the automotive industry.
- Experience using Mitchell 1 software is a plus.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers, scheduling service appointments, and receiving vehicle information.
- Listening to requests of the service desired and clearly explaining information on the repair order.
- Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, taking into account the customer’s schedule.
- Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
- Checking the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems.
- Getting customer approval to do additional work and explaining the work performed and the charges being billed.
- The Automotive Service Advisor must genuinely enjoy helping people and have an excellent work ethic.
- Our ideal candidate possesses a warm, friendly, and inviting personality.
Schedule:
Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM.
