JOB TITLE: Senior Youth Soccer Development Executive

REPORTING TO: Senior Manager, Ticket Sales

POSITION OVERVIEW:
NYCFC is currently seeing a Senior Youth Soccer Development Executive who is responsible for generating and maximizing revenue through the sales and retention of full season, partial season, and group ticket plans with a focus on youth soccer. Additionally, this role will focus on generating revenue through youth soccer camps, tournaments and clinics.
This person will establish relationships with local youth soccer coaches, teams, clubs and organizations within the community and provide superior levels of service with prospective clients and developed accounts. Senior Executives will be given opportunities to take the lead on ticket programs and demonstrate management abilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Generate new and renewal business revenue through full season, partial season, and group tickets with a focus on youth soccer partnerships, camps, tournaments and clinics.
  • Help constantly develop and grow a youth soccer database through various professional prospecting and networking efforts throughout the community.
  • Build relationships with youth soccer coaches, presidents, board members to drive revenue through the NYCFC youth soccer partner program.
  • Be a leader within the sales team by helping to motivate and inspire the Business Development team.
  • Prospect and close new sales leads for the organization through an outbound sales effort including cold-calling, relationship selling and in-person presentations.
  • Make a required minimum of 50 outbound sales calls per day with the goal of maximizing youth soccer revenue for New York City FC related events.
  • Establish presence at all New York City FC home games and local events for the purpose of developing new prospects, servicing existing customer base, and generating referrals.
  • Attend out of office meetings and youth soccer events including board meetings, tournaments, camps, clinics, as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with account base through proactive communication including seat visits, phone calls, emails and other communication channels.
  • Maintain a detailed customer database of all clients and prospects in the teams CRM.
  • Assist season ticket holders and communicate how to properly manage their account.
  • Provide a dedicated effort to renewal campaign.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals assigned by the Ticketing leadership team.
  • Other duties as determined by the Ticketing leadership team

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience. Experience in the sports industry is a plus.
  • Track record of sales success
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) a plus
  • Soccer knowledge is preferred.
  • Competitive and dedicated attitude, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Experience in the New York marketplace preferred.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and customer service skills.
  • High comfort level making cold calls.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC systems including Word, Excel and database-related platforms.
  • Creativity and excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted standards of customer service and problem resolution.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary

COMPENSATION:
This non exempt, OT eligible position has an estimated annual base salary range of $42,500 to $47,500. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
