The Senior Warehouse Supervisor leads daily operations such as shipping and receiving, inventory control and warehouse processes operations of the Gurabo site. This position is accountable for aligning departmental goals with the site objectives to achieve business goals and performance indicators. Assures compliance with regulatory, safety and environmental requirements pertinent to the internal and external (3PL) warehouse operations. Leads the team using new technologies and creative warehousing processes and concepts that drive a culture of change and improvement. Also, responsible to develop to engage and develop talent as well as championing positive employee relations aligned to CREDO driven culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the receipt, storage and shipping of raw materials, Finished Goods and other supplies in accordance with cGMP standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Leads daily warehouse operations with an emphasis on Finished Goods shipping and raw material and components receiving and storage.
3. Assures maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment consistent with high quality and performance standards.
4. Responsible for leading all customer logistics processes guaranteeing precise execution on all outbound services according to customer's expectations & aligned to strategic objectives.
5. Handles customer expectations and incorporates new requirements into process prior to implementation date.
6. Actively seeks opportunities for improvement and evaluates incorporation onto the strategic goals.
7. Completes investigation and documentation of all Non-Conformance Events (Investigation Reports and Corrective/Preventive Actions.) within assigned scope.
8. Handles insurance aspects of products within the country, including reimbursements, claims and interactions with Regional Transportation Organization as per J&J procedures.
9. Leads Internal and External Regulatory Compliance and Financial Audits.
10. Develops and/or recommends operating procedure changes, and equipment or facility alterations related to Material Management.
11. Supports the development of realistic Key Performance Indicators for the area of responsibility and drives monitoring, and continuous communication.
12. Collaborates effectively with Planning, Distribution, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Compliance, Operations, IT, and Finance to handle cross functional processes & resolve issues impacting areas of responsibility.
13. Supports the annual Capital & Business Plan Process under assigned scope.
14. Manages appropriate budget and operate within approved spending.
Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
Required:
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
- A proven experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in cGMP Operating Facilities.
- Experience with People Leadership in a Manufacturing or Logistics environment.
- Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Strong communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Organizational Change concepts and tools.
- Experience leading a high mix Warehouse and/or Distribution Center is required.
- Prior experience with ERP Systems is required.
- Prior experience working with an outsourced model environment is a plus.
- Consistent track record to produce results according to established goals and standards.
- Proven ability to build and be a great partner at all levels in the organization and with external partners.
- Strong business insight, leadership & interpersonal skills is required.
- This position will be based in Gurabo, PR and may require up to 10% domestic/international travel.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean Certifications (JJPS Deployment, Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
- Experience in SAP Warehouse Management modules is preferred.
- Proficient working on customer facing initiatives is preferred.
