The Main Responsibilities
- Conducts a variety of training programs for the North America Sales Enterprise organization supporting processes, products, systems, and/or methodologies.
- Maintains records of training activities and employee progress for analysis of trends.
- Demonstrates facilitation skills with expertise in key competencies: advanced preparation, clear communication, active listening, teaching through questions, and creating a safe learning environment.
- Adapts instruction to individuals while maintaining the group’s learning process.
- Demonstrate effective coaching and development of Lumen employees to improve knowledge and skills.
- Facilitate training on a select number of topics to multiple levels of the organization.
- Coordinates with Business Unit to identify training requirements, researches, analyzes, and works with Talent Development teams to recommend appropriate training.
- Develops relationship with assigned internal customers to establish ongoing consideration of training effectiveness and efficiency.
- Perform on the job training support activities.
- Suggest quality program improvements that are aligned with the business outcomes based on Level 1 feedback, program metrics, performance goals, and facilitation observations.
- Provide training, support, and/or guidance to talent development peers.
- Influence cross functionally with multiple teams to ensure training is delivered on time and is impactful.
- Identify training and support activities and deliver programs to fulfill the needs.
- Demonstrate Lumen Success Enablers – own commitments, be inclusive, grow yourself, others, and the business.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- 3 - 5 years of related experience.
- Understanding of Business Acumen related to the applicable business products, processes, and services.
- Proven skills in effectively conducting training in the following forums: one-on-one, classroom or virtual learning environments utilizing conferencing tools and forums.
- Continually applies effective coaching techniques to drive business outcomes.
- Foundational knowledge of how to analyze data and develop action plans based on results.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, projects, and deliverable commitments.
- Familiar with Instructional Design process and best practices.
- Familiarity of Lumen’s Products and Services.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
