PRADCO Outdoor Brands is looking to add a Mobile Engineer to its Moultrie Mobile team. This position will be focused on implementing new features and creating solutions for the Moultrie Mobile platform, as well as other hunting division software projects. We are looking for a highly skilled developer with mobile development experience. This position will need to have a solid understanding of native mobile development and cross platform mobile development, the Mobile Developer will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Back-end Team, Customer Service, and Marketing Teams to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the business. He or she will grow the business by thoroughly understanding the marketplace and competition, and by developing products that address consumer needs and staying abreast of the latest software trends.


Responsibilities:

  • Create native libraries to integrate with Xamarin apps
  • Write and maintain our Xamarin Forms app
  • Demonstrate highly effective approaches to object-oriented software development based on industry best practices.
  • Perform code reviews
  • Mentor new and junior team members
  • Monitor crash reports, identify solutions and implement fixes
  • Provide estimates and participate in agile development
  • Ensure mobile platform dependencies and target versions stay up to date
  • Work with the dev team, product owners, ux designers, and stakeholders to get clarification on business requirements and then implement solutions with elegant and clean code


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field (or equivalent years’ work experience)
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies and processes
  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
  • 3+ years in the following:
    • Source Control
    • Agile
    • Unit Testing
  • 2+ years in some of the following:
    • Kotlin
    • Swift
    • Xcode
    • Android Studio


Preferred Skills:

  • Passion for and demonstrated experience developing well-engineered software products
  • C#
  • Xamarin Forms experience
  • Xamarin binding libraries
  • Web development experience
