Azimuth Corporation has a potential opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support an NGA Research customer. The ideal candidate will be providing strategic, programmatic, and administrative support for existing and planned R&D programs, market research of existing state of the art technologies, acquisition of new capabilities, and organizational management. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Act as the single POC with the Reimagining Research (R2) Program Management Office (PMO) at NGA.
- Support all prime Contractor and subcontractor activities related to performance, financials and burn rate, schedules, personnel, training, security deliverables, and modifications.
- Maintain regular communication with the R2 PMO and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and keep them informed of relevant Contractor-related information, significant risks, issues, and their associated resolution plans and status.
- Ensure the Contractor team includes subject matter experts needed to provide correct advice on NGA programs, projects, and activities at both the programmatic and technical levels.
- Provide strong technical and programmatic leadership. Some of these tasks include oversight of daily operations, staffing, and product delivery, among others.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS, MA/MS, or PhD in business or management.
- 10 years of program management experience for Federal customers.
- 15 Years of demonstrated specialized experience as a Program Manager.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management or equivalent specialized experience with Project Management tools and techniques.
- Must be US Citizen. Candidates with Green Cards and VISAs are not acceptable.
- Active Security Clearance Required.
Physical Requirements / Travel
- Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
- May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
