The Senior Producer plays a significant role on the Studio team. The Senior Producer will also be responsible for the successful collaboration of Studio team members with other Wray Ward creative disciplines, client engagement directors and project managers.

The Senior Producer will be responsible for upholding agency standards and best practices for the Studio team in alignment with industry standards, while providing additional in-shoot production leadership across projects. The Senior Producer will provide active support in day-to-day client work, including production and postproduction oversight and management. In summary, the Senior Producer will leverage their expertise and resources to elevate the craft and operations of the Studio team to ensure the best possible productions for our clients and the agency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Senior Producer

• Work directly with the video production team, the creative department and account teams to champion and direct the video production function within the agency

• Lead projects through all phases of production, including preproduction, production/shooting and postproduction

• Oversee the development of scopes of work and budget parameters in conjunction with project managers

• Follow industry-standard practices for contracts, bidding, talent negotiations, department organization and all phases of production

Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Studio Team

• Stay abreast of new motion graphic and video production trends and suggest new ways to implement these trends/technologies

• Attend and participate actively in relevant team, agency and client meetings

• Be an active participant in idea generation, brainstorming and creative thinking

• Maintain the highest knowledge of social media strategies and networks, specifically those pertaining to video

• Be a positive, motivating member of the team

• Bring new ideas to the team and champion the use of video in telling client and agency stories

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a video production environment, some agency experience preferred

• Exceptional skills in all phases of video production — from pre-to postproduction, including experience with bidding

• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time

• Knowledge of the latest production equipment (cameras, software, digital workflows, lighting and audio)

• Knowledge of roles and rates, and how to build the right crew for each project

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Slides and Sheets)

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects

• Focus on delivering great work, no matter how big or small the project

• Desire to deliver “beyond the ask”

• Print production experience a plus

• Bachelor’s degree
