Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Certified Medical Assistant (MA) for our Baptist MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Clinic at Baptist Clay, located in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time Days position with shifts Monday-Friday from 8-5 p.m.

Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant include:

Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant include:
Providing nursing assistance to the physician and APP.- Obtaining vital signs, weights, and heights.
- Greeting and chaperoning patients as needed during medical visits.
- Documenting in the medical record as indicated per role. Responsible for sending treatment start and stop letters to referring physicians.
- Conducting HCG tests as needed, processing requests, referrals, and helping with FMLA paperwork.
- Cross training with the Medical Records Coordinator and assisting as and where needed.
- Floating/rotating between clinics as needed.
