The salary range for this role is: $101,296 - $182,208.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain production requirements from Supply Chain Planning.
  • During the off season, determine monthly production for each item based on plan efficiencies and budget requirements. During the season, review Supply Chain Planning requirements and advise if production can be accomplished as planned. If not, make changes to the seasonal plan and notify Supply Chain Planning of changes due to line constraints or other constrictions.
  • Issue daily production plan to the materials group, production staff, and Supply Chain Planning. Advise of any pack or labeling priorities and issue production/labeling instructions to plant.
  • Manage brite inventories and bulk inventories. Ensure in-house brite inventories are at the lowest level possible prior to Fresh Pack.
  • Calculate bulk requirements per week and ensure adequate in-house supplies. Facilitate bulk transfers and advise as to outside vendor purchase requirements.
  • Monitor Finished Goods Inventory to ensure superior customer service and shelf-life issues.
  • Communicate pack dates to Supply Chain Planning and outside support resources. Communicate tonnage requirements to Field Group. Communicate with Accounting in Modesto on production requirements and changes.
  • Execute the labeling plan.
  • Publish Daily Actual Production versus Planned (balance to pack).
  • Analyze long-term production plans and develop seasonal capacity planning models showing planned production and available capacity.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives related to execution and planned growth.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, production to coordinate production activities, change orders, new product launches, etc.
  • Participate in and champion MRP system development activities, including specification writing, development, testing, and training.
  • Track, report, and communicate KPIs. Demonstrate continuous improvement and follow-up on action plans.
  • Foster and develop a strong team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field is required.
  • 5 – 10 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP, preferably SAP, with a solid understanding of food manufacturing, bills of material, procure to pay processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate with high energy.
  • Demonstrated resilience and capacity to lead a team through periods of change.
