The Opportunity
Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA, and this position is available for hybrid work in WA. You will report to our Director of People & Organization (HR).
Zulily is looking for a Sr. Manager, People & Organization (P&O) to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support for our corporate organization.
You will need to apply deep business knowledge to inform and guide the short and long-term talent management strategy and HR priorities for our corporate organization - Merchandising, Marketing/Creative and G&A business teams. You will partner with the executive team and department leadership to create and execute the HR strategies and planning activities which develop talent and support organizational capability. We are looking for a Human Resource professional who can diagnose issues and recommend, design, and deliver solutions. Your Impact
  • Lead, develop, grow, and guide a small team of direct reports. Serve as an expert and mentor across Zulily P&O Partners
  • Develop, implement, and evolve HR strategy to support the business in areas such as organizational design, performance management, and talent development
  • Consult on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment
  • Provide coaching to develop senior leaders and their teams; and develop acumen within the People function
  • Consult with managers on team member performance and development
  • Engage, partner, and consult with talent acquisition partners to meet the recruiting needs for the business; interview and assess senior-level candidates; support the continued development of talent assessment skills within the organization - ensuring a commitment to finding, growing, and retaining talent
  • Partner with leaders to cultivate a culture that reflects the beliefs and values of the organization, drives engagement, and fosters belonging and inclusion for all team members
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve team member engagement, performance, retention, and organizational performance
  • Assess leadership and team member development training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions
  • Engage the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, team member relations, compensation, career development, and leadership development
  • Be the P&O Team ‘Team Member Relations (TMR) Subject Matter Expert’, providing cross-team support on process and documentation, issue spotting and root cause analysis, and mentorship of P&O Partners on best practices in the identification of durable solutions to recurring TMR topics
  • Partner with the recruiting team to meet recruitment goals to secure the growth of the business - ensuring a commitment to finding, growing, and retaining talent
What You Bring
  • Experience leading a team of HR professionals as direct reports
  • BA/BS required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in human resources or related field, including at least 3 years HR Business Partnership experience

    • PAID TIME OFF FOR TEAM MEMBERS WORKING IN WASHINGTON STATE ONLY: estimated annual accrual of 15 days of PTO (inclusive of state and local sick and safe leave) during your first year, 1 paid volunteer day per year, 7 paid company holidays per year, and up to 4 paid floating holidays per year, depending on the date of hire
Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00
